“Making the elderly happy, that is what counts.” These simple words of our foundress, Saint Jeanne Jugan, are the guiding words for the Little Sisters of the Poor and our staff. Whatever the changes in our society, whatever the circumstances, the greatest need of the elderly is to be loved and needed.

We have been giving compassionate care to elderly men and woman in Denver since 1918. During those years, thousands of elderly Colorado Residents from all walks of life, of all religions and beliefs, have made their home with us.
