Quilt Project
By Katy Griffin, Life Enrichment Coordinator
All of these Volunteers, Residents, and Staff worked diligently over the past few months to complete this wonderful quilt for the 2022 Pioneer Network Conference. The Pioneer Network is an organization that strives to promote person-centered care with trainings, podcasts, webinars, conferences and more. The annual conference invites speakers and attendees from all over the nation. They rely on local community members to present a quilt for display at the conference. This year, this conference is hosted by Denver and the Little Sisters of the Poor. Mullen Home was invited to create the quilt for them. This wonderful group of volunteers used their individual talents to pull together this beautiful piece of art. It includes the mountains and Denver skyline, the words Saint Jeanne Jugan and the year for the conference. And in the middle, there’s a tribute to St. Jeanne Jugan and the Little Sisters of the Poor. It took time, patience, and many steady hands to create this lovely tribute. Thank you is hardly enough to convey our appreciation to everyone.
