Pre-schoolers and painting flower pots
St Vincent de Paul School has always partnered with Mullen Home, bringing their students to have intergenerational activities with the Residents.
Since this event couldn’t happen in-person just yet, the Little Sisters and the SVP pre-school teacher, Miss Caitlin, came up a new idea: introduce the children to painting and planting spring flowers from their schoolyard. The teacher then brought everything over to adorn the Mullen Home garden the next day.
Both Sr. Joseph Marie and Sr. Michael were thrilled to see these tiny students with their gardening and painting abilities. Children and spring flowers are the perfect recipe for smiles all-around. We are grateful for their time, prayers, and sweet spirits.
