Wish of a Lifetime
Through Wish of a Lifetime*, a Colorado non-profit granting wishes for the aging, Mullen Home Resident Cynthia enjoyed a trip to the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center in Longmont, CO.
It was a beautiful Colorado day when Cynthia and her family got up close and personal with several incredible horses. “Beasty,” her favorite horse, enjoyed Cynthia’s visit as well. He remained sweet and calm as she brushed and fed him treats. Several other horses such as “Handsome” and “Beauty” made everyone feel welcome at the stables.
The afternoon was especially memorable for the family members who joined Cynthia on her personal wish. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal at The Roost and another opportunity for laughter and reminiscing. This Wish of a Lifetime afternoon trip is an inspiration to us all to create special moments, be with all the ones we love, and enjoy our beautiful state of Colorado.
