Staff “Adapt-A-Tree” Contest
Twenty table top trees were creatively decorated by department teams and individuals as the first “Adapt-A-Tree” contest kicked off this Christmas season at Mullen Home. The trees were judged by the Residents for creativity and for the theme they represented. For example, the Kitchen Tree had broccoli, bacon, and ham ornaments hanging from its boughs, while the Resident Accounts tree brimmed with receipts, pencils, and adding machine tapes. The Second floor Staff used a tree to make a Snowman and little snowman.
Winners (there were many) received gift certificates. The staff, the Sisters, and the Residents enjoyed viewing the decked-out hallway during this holiday season as the contest brought so much cheer and happiness to the Home. We are sure to repeat it again next year!
