Knights of Columbus to the Rescue!
Tis the season for counting our blessings, we certainly have plenty to be thankful for! The Knights of Columbus responded to our recent plea for help by dropping off dozens of turkeys for our annual Turkey Drop. Throughout the holiday season, these will be used for festive holiday meals for our Residents. The Knights are always so generous to us and provide us with many necessities year after year. We thank them very much for all of the ways that they care for our Residents!
Recently, The Knights of Columbus celebrated the Beatification of their founder Father Michael McGivney! In our experience, the Knights have continually demonstrated true loyalty to the charism of their beloved founder. Since the beginning of our arrival at Mullen Home, the Knights of Columbus have been our ‘Big Brothers’. They have been supporting our Home for over 100 years. Whether it be joining us for Christmas celebrations, supporting us through our court cases, providing financial or spiritual help throughout various events, the Knights have supported our mission unceasingly.
This year we are especially grateful for the support they have given us during this pandemic. No matter what we need, they have always been there for us and our Residents. Once again, we take this opportunity to ‘Rejoice’ with all the brotherhood, whom we consider our ‘Big Brothers’.
