Sisters, staff, and Residents gave a hearty Rocky Mountain welcome to our new Mother Superior Cornelia Maria de la Croix. The Sisters welcomed Mother, and staff and Residents burst into song with “She’ll be Coming ‘Round the Mountain” and John Denver’s big hit, “Rocky Mountain High.” Residents quickly “deputized” her with a big silver star and presented her with flowers! A real western “hoe down” followed the next day with staff and Residents putting on a lively show in the auditorium. From that introduction, Mother Cornelia began a busy, non-stop pace of getting acquainted with everyone and learning her way around the halls of Mullen Home. Mother Cornelia, a native of Northern Germany, has been a Little Sister for fifteen years. She comes to Colorado from our home in Philadelphia, PA. This is her first visit to the Colorado and we hope it will be a long stay. God bless you, Mother. We wish you the very best in your new Home.
WELCOME MOTHER CORNELIA!!!
